I understood that a lot of it was standard Subaru. I think a mixture of Justy and Impreza, if I remember correctly. The Prodrive anti-lag tech was very specialised but presumably could have been dropped. What made it unmakeable?

Worldcarfans claim that Autocar claim coprwrite to those images... Does that mean they were created by AC?

They're conceptual sketches, nobody has picked up on the fact that each sketch varies and no two are the same! It's to give an impression as to what it looks like.

That's really a very long time ago though isn't it? Certainly for the last 20-odd years Subaru have been almost synonymous with 4WD.
