Or perhaps what the hell kind of engine is going to be involved if the total build cost is less than $1000 USD?

It says Lamabo. I assume it's the manufacturer.

Still, it's like a 355 replica, its never going to be even a tenth of the real thing.

I agree about the engine though... though maybe it isnt included in the 1000USD. I'd slot an LS3 in there.

What the advert doesn't say is the car is based of a Fiat Panda. smile

No you make the moulding plugs from ply-wood then use fibreglass (I presume)....

Come on people, it's getting like the Daily Mail round here.

What's the point?

It'll never be a real one, just save for another year and buy the real deal.

Personally, I think the real Zonda is a laughably ugly car. This is offset by the incredible performance and build quality.

I can't see the point of a replica - it would embody the worst aspects of the real car without any of the positive elements.

Have you actually read the advert? The item is just the plans to build the wooden former over which you can then lay metal/fibreglass/chocolate and then build the rest of the car. The $1000 estimate is for the plywood former, not the rest of the car.

Wow, that's some interest rate you're getting on your savings account. Can I ask who you bank with.
