ED, is your client Geeley?

If you want to win frinds on here, just remake the Miura concept from a few years back. There are about 200 people on here who want that, and want it now =)

yes

However its only styling nods to the manufacturer are the trident wheels and a bit of bird-caging around the steering column. Nice touches, however it does nothing to show a non-car person who made the car. It's a bar of soap with a canopy!

Envy, can I ask, have you considered the feelings of Mr Pagani or current owners of the real cars?

And could you also please explain why you feel you have the right to rip off someone elses lifelong work?

I dare you to answer.....

This is actually quite sad IMHO. The Zonda Cinque was amazingly rare. Copies just take that away from it.

Is this school? Can you copyright a cars appearance? So long as its not called a Pigani Zonda then whats the issue?

Not that I agree with going all Chinese on the Zonda, but is there much difference in terms of morality between in a 250GTO Recreation to the real thing, or a Westfield to a Lotus Seven?

Now I don't agree with copying a current production car, but the thought of that Birdcage actually driving on the road (in replica form) rather than the design wasting away as a model in a museum, sounds lovely.

(Yes, I have hypocritical thoughts frown )

Yes.

Yes you can.

And they do. All of them.

This car is clearly a copyright breach, and as such I have emailed this link to Pagani themselves.

You just can't do this. It's against the law, plain and simple.

You're fast becoming a pain in my arse.

I'm a design engineer by trade, and it really, REALLY gets on my fecking tits when stupid internet warriors like you champion this kind of design-stealing action.

Pagani has worked for many years, and has spent millions of Euros designing that car. They have also patented their design. You know, a legal patent.

This joker comes along and thinks he can make a copy - well you know what? He can't.

It's simple.

Oh stop it.

Look.

Pagani design car.

Pagani patent design of said car.

EnvyDesigns makes a copy of Pagani car.

EnvyDesigns break the law.

Simple.
