No the policeman was in the queue at the till with food.
Ha, they need to eat too. I will concede after seeing the car park on Googlemaps (Don't ask how I found it, I don't live ANYWHERE near) that the parking place isn't ideal, as It causes a visual obstruction for anybody wanting to come out of junction marked with the red arrow.Edited by Snails on Saturday 3rd September 16:10
Went to B&Q this afternoon to pick up a dozen bags of mixed sand / gravel a few bags of cement and some bits and bobs, meant that my trolley was weighing it at around 950 lbs., shouldn’t have been a problem getting my shogun sport to the bulk exit and loading it all in. . . . . . I didn’t count on this idiot, who thought that blocking the bulk exit was a good idea

In the hope it had a loud, recognizable alarm, I think I'd have bounced on the wing a couple of times.jjr1 said:
The policeman could not be bothered to park in one of the available ones and just chose to dump the car on the entry/exit road, closest to the door.
Apologies. I didn't realise it was your pic and you were there at the time and had the benefit of first-hand experience. Fair enoughSnails said:

A lot of time on your hands by any chance?Edited by Snails on Saturday 3rd September 16:10
Not "bad parking" (the opposite infact!) but the best place I could think to put it.
The shop is on the same row as a Chinese, Indian etc. Parking is at a premium, so they've certainly found an "inventive" way to park. No idea how they get out, though... roughly 1.5" between each van! (the wing mirrors are actually crossing each other if that makes sense...)

On a Saturday afternoon? Yes. Enough time to look at jjr1's profile, see he lived in London. Then using the Sainsbury's website, find all Sainsbury's in London with a petrol station and car wash, put the postcode of said stores into Googlemaps and try and find the right car park. This didn't get me very far, so I found out which part of the country registers FJ and FX number plates, realised it was Nottingham/Lincoln. I then did the same for Nottingham and taaaa daaa, the right car park. I then used Paint to create the wonderful picture. 10 minutes maybe?Gassing Station | General Gassing | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
