I can safely say, that if this 4 x 4 was my 1999 4.7 V8 Jeep, that I really don't give a toss about. And is loaded with recovery straps and other 4 x 4 crap One way or another it would get outGetragdogleg said:
This picture was taken about 10 mins ago from my window, there is nothing in front of the car for about 2 car lengths and the driver just landed it where it is and minced off.

Never thought I'd end up posting on this. But a friend posted this on facebook, from my old sixth form. http://maps.google.co.uk/maps?hl=en&q=rm8+1jt&... to get a better idea of this.
WTF?!?!
WTF?!?!
Since I've been working at home a bit lately I've noticed all sorts of horrendous parking (I live next to a primary school). Currently it's home time and someone in a silver Picasso (what else?) has managed to park not only on the "SCHOOL - KEEP CLEAR" markings but is also blocking the gap in the railings where the kids will be crossing the road
Silly fking cow.

Here's a turfer in use for those who don't know what one is.... They'll shift anything in the right hands
You mean Tirfor, and that video shows how not to do it, they are not using the correct handle supplied with the machine, which in turn may overload the equipment as they have a lot more leverage, best case they burst the shear pins, worst case the internal jaws or wire leaving the load to free run back the way it cameQuinny said:

Thanks for that...... The idea was to show a piece of recovery equipment in use....... Not provide a full instructional guide of the do's and dont's.....Quinny said:
