I think it looks great from many angles, but very ugly from the front. It's just a matter of opinion I suppose. I felt the same way about the TVR Tuscan's swoopy front end at launch (the road car that is), and I still feel the same way now about it.

Mind you, on the other hand I rather like the 360, which most people seem to hate. Each to their own I guess!

I generally concur with your sentiments. The 458 front-end could definitely be better. I don't understand their bent on going tech-y/aggressive over just straight sexy. I also agree about the TVR. TVR has put some of the ugliest headlights and curves on their cars. I don't understand how these decisions get made.

That's a good point, designs have to pass the board of directors surely?

Regarding TVR, I find most of their cars fairly good looking, but I never got used to the nose on the Tuscan. It remains one of the few cars I wouldn't buy on looks alone.

If anything that's probably the problem. Too many idiots who think they know how to design a car interfering with the designers...

Its a beauty although some areas are neautral. It certainly is the most modern Ferrari look which many still could not grasp pitting the blame on bad taste. ONly thing I don't like though, and never did on previous Ferrari is the rear lights which its top are partially exposed, Ferrari Enzo, F430 and Califonia. If I had the money to own one, I'd get a carbon fiber specialist to extend the wing at the rear to cover that bit of the brake light. I'd love to own one, 9,000 rpm. Pretty sure it beats the MP4-12C on ochestra.
