Presumably PH couldn't include classic threads such as Lindylops' rants because as the butt of 'teh MENTAL' jokes she'd never give permission. Assuming permission is needed (legally) then in time for next year's publication maybe you ought to force us all to agree to allow you to use our forum posts in any way you choose.

Just a thought. Or perhaps it's not that kind of book.

I'd have thought anything you post here becomes the property of PH/Haymarket the moment you click "submit".

It does, but that's more so that we're protected from other people nicking it all. We did, and would continue, to seek permission from anyone who we wanted to publish in print. It would be impolite not to and we'd completely understand if individuals weren't keen.

We thought we'd better produce a magazine from a website before we went a step further on and produced a virtual magazine from a magazine from a website. If we'd gone down that route we might just as well have talked ourselves out of it again smile

The London to Brighton story will be making its debut in it BTW thumbup
