Keep us posted with how you get on, please.
...especially the feet!
(mine are size-11 and pretty wide, so I'm s-o-o-l with most kit cars (Caterham SV is OK))
I envy you . . 13 and spreading! I've discussed this and there may be ways to get round it re. pedal box and positioning of bits etc....especially the feet!

It'll be a while yet and I've been busy going through permutations/finances (ouch) today as I'm itching to have one - whether to keep the 318, sell it (will lose loads as so much is new) or use it as a donor and sell things - like the Nitron coilovers that won't fit the GKD - so I can get it faster.
When I do try/get one I'll let you know what it's like.
Hi All,
I run a track day and race school business in Poland (but I'm actually from Bristol) and after careful consideration and pretty juicy offers of cooperation from simmilar kit and mainstream manufacturers, we've just ordered 3 of these from Peter. I'd just like to confirm the other comments - Peter could not have been more helpful or responsive, its great to do business with him.
We're taking two 318is powered cars, he is building one and we're building another here in Poland. In addition we've ordred a legend 6 kit and have picked up a very tidy 3.0 M3 (lightly tuned with a carbon airbox, lightened flywheel)to build what we hope will be a pretty tasty track toy for our punters to scare themselves silly in. Can't wait!
Look forward to following your blog Dave - good luck with the build!

Wow! Make sure you keep us up to date - I want lots of pictures and a full description of what it's like to drive please!I wouldnt really worry about a few seconds on the Top Gear track, personally, never really get into situations where being a couple of seconds faster round a circuit than a BMW owner, anyway neither would actually race, the BMW owner would be yacking into his Iphone, checking his Tag watch and applying some more Paco Rabanne and the Mustang owners spurs would interfere with lap times anyway !
I think really, for those of us not racing its whether or not we are enjoying the drive.

Hi, New to this!! Just bought a half finished Robin hood Seven style car. It has been left in a field for two years so you can imagine it's condition. It has a 2l pinto blue block engine with twin webbers and ford running gear. The ford stuff will be up for sale as soon as I get it all out. Should be about a week. I've just purchased a 1996 BMW M3 which I'm going to put in to the car. Looking forward to getting it on the road.
