bds! wink

Oh and as mentioned, we've seen that 993 before...
Look, I'm willing to take it off their hands if they're struggling to get rid! wink

In fact I think there was scope for them to have made this article 2 or 3 times longer
Given the last paragraph ..... no thanks !
Eh?

I always want to read more about 993RS. Why would you?

Chris Harris tells a MUCH different story with his Tuthill modified 911.
He wrote on his DR blog that it was actually a better road car than the
GT-3 of that moment. J

well done for specialist cars of malton to let PH out in the cars and for us to read a review - thanks mark etc.

however, I have to be balanced and say that if I was buying a car I always buy from a private individual - I wouldn't really want to know that journalists have ragged my newly bought pride and joy around and driven it with salt on the roads etc, nope, a fastidious previous owner suits me more!

it is only fair that scom get a mention though as they were kind enough to let PH use their cars.

Just for the record PH towers asked if they could borrow some of our cars for this article. No money changed hands, we provided the cars and fuel, valeted them afterwards etc, all we ever ask (and this is the same of the print magazines who use our cars) is that they leave our Malton plates on the cars, not a lot to ask I think.

If it's still for sale this time next year I'm going to offer them £9,995 for it.

Strange that this sort of comment is frowned upon when done by Joe Public in a thread... Seem to remember a mod mentioning speeding on public roads should be like fighting in Fight Club. The first rule...etc etc. yes

Unless this was all on an amazing private country road.

Looks like a blatant ad for Malton instead of an article - how much did they pay you?

Slow news day obviously.

Then again, I wouldn't say no to any of those cars if Santa had stuffed one down the chimney the other day.

May I have a look at the articles you've written lately? Oh...

Yes, Specialist Cars of Malton got a mention, but then they did hand the keys over, didn't they.

Being a big fan of Porsches of this era I really liked the article and agree that it would have been great if it had been longer à la EVO group tests. The ultimate air-cooled 911 for me is the 965 Turbo though. When you voys get round to testing that feel free to wax lyrical on it.

maybe you should ask the owners permission before you lend out their cars. Not really happy that first thing I know is logging on and seeing my car. Will arrange to collect as soon as I am back in uk.

Indeed, but now really evo, autocar, car, performance etc do a la PH style group tests. Short articles live best on-line-- PH style will win. Less is less and less is enough for most. j

epic car that gt2. only a complete idiot would ever sell it!

"The silver GT2 isn't quite so approachable. " - you big girl. nail it, never ever lift, look where you want to go and it'll get you there. amazing car once you let it do the work and not fight it.

ps. the evo review of this car...
