I actually live by a main road but on "our" block at the front is my MR2, my Dads E32 735SE and someone down the road has a W123 estate merc. Apart from that its your usual sainsburys parent and child parking.

There was a newer style non pop up NSX round the back once but that about it.

Within a 1 mile radius however, there are some very nice cars. Even the hairdresser by where i get a bite to eat has an SL55.

Triumph Spitfire
Beach buggy
Porsche Cayenne (meh its 4 odd litre turbo one)
Few bigger mercs
Jag XJ6
An old Austin 7 I think it is, well its circa 1920

Ferrari 456 I think, I have only seen it twice this year and it has the most dreadful exhaust in the world, for a Ferrari it sounds vile, for those of you who have heard a Ferrari V12 (It is a V12 in them, front engined?) with a Tubi exhaust they sound good, this sounds like dog st, I heard it go out two days ago in the snow of all days to take a Ferrari out, and all I could think was "WTF is that, sounds like a V12 with a big of spanners thrown in fighting with a V8...Oh its his Ferrari"

Lamborghini Gallardo occasionally about
Alfa 147GTA, its an Alfa so has to be put in
Mini Cooper S
MGB
MGA
Scrub that he has just chopped the 456 in for my dream Ferrari, well nearly dream, 550 Maranello, and it also sounds like dogst, but I couldn't care its a 550, the last good looking Ferrari ever made

My house - Fiesta ST, Civic Type-s GT (dads), New shape Swift 1.3 (sisters)
Rest of the street - mk4 Golf GTI turbo, Focus ST, Fabia VRS, a very tidy Z3, the rest is a collection of 320ds and soft-roaders.
Quite depressing really my house included.

We've got my E30 318iS and mum's golf GT sport, next door have an E36, E46 and E90 (slight BMW tendencies perhaps? wink)

However, where my mate bought his T25 Syncro from, the guy reckoned he had about 30 cars, he flipped through the V5's trying to find the one to give my mate, like a big roll of cash biggrin

He had about 3 type 25 volkswagens, two massive military trailers, 2 UR quattros and some Audi 80's, and some older volkswagen stuff, I was well impressed.

Odd mixture on my tiny close:

3 houses have no car.

house with a couple of dull shopping trollies

house with a young kid who loves messing about with cars so has had a variety of old fiestas and french boxes. ( he was out replacing the front of a 207 at 9:30 on xmas morning, nutter,, lol )

house next door has an immaculate mk1 mx5, stored in the garage and only driven in good weather, a new civic and a new mini cooper

my alfa gtv and volvo s60

last house has a soft roader of some sort, and a newish (v35?) skyline, very unusual.

Not very.

There's a 993 Carrera 2, a gentleman around the corner has a Morgan Aero 8, and my neighbour 2 doors down has a white XJS that he keeps under a cover.

The rest are all Euroboxes and boring German execs.

The car count is v.average couple of caterhams, classic GTV, 156, one neighbour has an old cortina that has been around the world which is somehow cool then the usual smattering of new BMW's and Jags. People wise its pretty good though with an ex-F1 test driver, BSB mechanic, couple of club racers and an ad guy involved with motorsport, good until we have the annual go kart race and us normal folk get blown away smile

Our cul-de-sac is horrendous, barring a couple of recent FWD Alfas and a friend of one of our neighbours who visits in a mk1 Focus RS. What's weird though is something like half the entire population of the development has a dark coloured current-shape 3-Series. It's like that Harry Potter film where they go to the street where everyone has a Vectra. Only a bit more middle class.

Not too bad. Mostly shopping trolleys, but two doors down is a guy with a garage full of old minis in various stages of rebuild, and another two doors is a guy building a locost. So quite good from a mechanic's point of view. One scooby sti, and a chap who occaisionally visits in an audi R8.
