What a bloody death trap. It would need an IVA test anyway, which would cost more than the car is worth.

Impressive fabrication work on that 300CE. That's where it stops though as that is much better left as Merc intended. The boot is truly awful.
I missed the boot lid on the 1st viewing...

It has a V8 badge on the back.
Like an old ford V8 badge, from the 1930's.

I imagine you're not getting images?

8V would be accurate; maybe he's being ironic.

But probably not.

Surely if you're going to do an undeclared engine swap then you should go for the 2.0? What's the point in fitting a 1.4 with barely any extra power? Not that it really matters with all that extra fibreglass to lug around

Once upon a time I used to have a Galant VR-4 so often check back on Trader for for old times sake to see if any are about... nearly spat my coffee all over the PC when I found this "beauty"

nice

Off topic but I have always loved the sleeperness of the VR4.

They seem to keep their prices well..Are they still worth a punt?

It would be UK, Rallyart one, not inport..

Sleeper was exactly why I loved it too smile nothing like racing 330's off the line on 4/5 throttle and then squeezing when they'd think they're were winning...childish but great fun.

I'd have another but they're hard to price due to short supply. I'd say they're worth a punt if they've service history, but the semi-auto boxes start to break at high miles 2 to 3rd gear goes AWOL and nowhere to get recon boxes due to rarity.

I'd have one in a flash again, might even put green flames and a scoop on my next one laugh

I get the feeling the guy had it parked round the corner when he asked "Do you do part ex mate?"

Dealer is in Bradford so that is fairly normal round these parts, will probably have no trouble flogging it.
it is the home of Khan Design after all.
