From a buyers perspective (LOL) I can't see many wanting to move away from the Lambo V10 to a V8 either.

I suprisignly have to agree with you on this. The car lacks chracter, shame on Audi. At least make it look a little bit different. It looks as though the Audi parts bin is using as much parts as possible or look the same for the whole saloon range. Even down to the rear lamps. Many criticised BMW and Mercedes, but at least they still have a varying difference. At the moment I cannot tell the difference between an A6 and an A8 unless I see the badge or buy the size from the side, it just looks too much similar, in the same fashion I cannot really differentiate a signum from the outgoing Astra.

The lack of creativity and imagination astounds me on this.

I understand audi keeping to a brand image etc... with common design themes. But come on, this is unbelievable. Almost the whole audi saloon range now looks IDENTICAL to each other barring size.

At least the BM's and Merc's look different.

The most boring, unispiring car i have seen in many years

How they reckon it will be the ‘sportiest’ in its class looking like that is beyond me, especially when the new Jag XJ comes out coupled with the already existing and delicious Quattroporte.

Very boring it does nothing to move the game on.

Saw the new SEAT Exeo from the back the other day and genuinely thought it was an A4. Then there are those Hyundais that look like the A4. And so does the A6, and now this. THERE ARE OTHER WAYS TO STYLE A CAR PEOPLE!

The Exeo is a previous generation A4.

Where does the front number plate go?
Stand and look at the rear number plate. Front one is at the other end.

It's like Audi used all of their creative design on the R8 and to a lesser extent the A5. I agree with other posters; the original A8 looked superb

Sad to say that the Cadillac XTS Platinum concept looks a million times better than this:

Who'd have thought it.

The side view reminds me of the most recent 5 series BMW. Not good. I really wanted to like this as a prospective buyer. My money is on the new XJ. Same curb weight as an XF, and I like the look. Genuinely fresh
