And I wish the Beeb would make those old Motorworld episodes available on DVD. Some of the episodes were brilliant. Notable highlights included the excesses of Dubai's car nutters; the giant globe car that is a house on wheels that can only trundle around the desert; the Indian rally driving experience where the navigator is totally blind; the oil Sheik who paid homage to the 1950's Dodge power wagon by making a giant working replica out in the desert and build a house inside it …
yes I have had a good old look and can't find it anywhere. I have a grainy old knacker-jack VHS with the whole lot on. Loved that series. The one on India was absolutely priceless, and the sound of the 250LM on Italy still lingers in my memory.

Hmmm. I have often contemplated a Jenson Interceptor. I don't really know why, as I have never driven one and I actually think they are a bit ugly at the rear, but there is something about them.
It has one of the coolest car names I can think of.
except it's JensEn

I'm sure we've all got one.
A car that we would happily drive and like but for absolutely no real reason biggrin

I'll start

No reasoning behind it, but cloud9
now if it was a 4x4 turbo then maybe but what is that? an sri?
Looks like a CD spec .. please dont ask why i may know paperbag
I could not tell you myself biggrin
I just went for one the same colour as the one we abuse daily at college hehe
From the RAC website - No descriptive data is held by DVLA for registration number L426GUC. So thats been scrapped then! Looks more like a CDX than a CD to me, or maybe its a Diplomat (Google Images it and see wink )
Its the latter.
If its the Diplomat spec the is there not a chance that there may be 2.5 litres and 6 cylinders under the bonnet? Would still prefer a GSi though, love them things
Pretty sure it's a diplomat as IIRC the CD and CDX models had a little CD badge at the base of the front wing, it also appears to have leather, which the diplomat had as standard.

Whatever it is, I too would happily own one, although a MK2 SRi 130 would be above this one on the list.

I always look at old jags/big trucks wierd citroen stuff, and then plump for an old bmw, cos its fun to drive, fastish, makes a nice noise, comfy. Boring though.

Have seen a few of them and got them "plussed". Seems to be the same ones going round and round. Clarkson does have very large amusing hair in them though.

Not really - it's a SuperTouring isn't it - I'd like one as well if it had the AP brakes and Suretrac LSD

yes I'm with you on that, Citroen BXs are very cool IMO, especially the hideously ugly rally and so very rare rally variant.
