Oh dear that's going to take some explaining....
I vividly remember joining the A1 South at, errrr, about 70mph going full chat in one of these aged about 23. Made a great noise. My gf at the time worked at VAuxhall and used to get all sorts of interesting metal. Anyway, as I joined I saw a jam sandwich parked on the junction waiting for idiots such as I. Arse swiftly dropped out, but by some miracle he didn't set off after us!

My little bundles of shame that I cannot explain why I want!

I want it in Frog Green too!

Apart from being well built - these don't have a lot going for them - but all the same, I really want one!

And probably the biggest faux paux of them all....I would really like a Skoda Fabia saloon

I give you the 1987 Toyota Camry

Probably some nostalgic reason as my grandfather owned one from 1989-2003, so went on all sorts of trips in it. At the time it was a very well equipped car. If you consider all round electric windows as well equipped. Which I obviously did.

Next up is the Rover SD1, anything with a V8 preferably. Head says flakey, Heart says RWD, V8, then imitates the noise...

There are many, but add the moment I'm strongly wanting one of these for no discernible reason

Or even, and stick with me here, one of these which I have always liked but never known why

Not really - it's a SuperTouring isn't it - I'd like one as well if it had the AP brakes and Suretrac LSD
The supertouring didnt come with these the limited edition ST200 of which 38 were made did.

Don't ask me how i know this!

The extenbal differences aren't much but are visible if you look. The wheels are 17" and you can see the APs sticking out.

Edited for spelling and to add picture.

Don't ask why, I just like the sound of a Vtec estate

Also another vote for the Orion, particularly one chavved up by an Essex lad and with some italic numberplates

Outclassed by nearly all of its competitors back in the 90's, but I don't care, I still want a Mk3 Astra GSI

I wouldn't mind a smart for2 for a few weeks. Parking on my street is a pain in the arse because so many people leave between a half and 2/3's of a space between cars. I'd park nose to the pavement just to ps off these people and their inconsiderate parking.

Ranting makes me feel old and grouchy but it needs to be done!

Both my cars were chosen for their light weight and compact dimensions, but for some unfathomable reason I have a strange longing for one of these:

Despite generally disliking Fwd and knowing it wouldn't be as much fun as my MX5, I still get sporadic hankerings for one of these:
