True, and Clarissa Dixon Wright would probably be easier to live with than Kelly Brook. I'll take Kelly and the Sag thanks smile

I can't comment on a Sagaris,(much more sorted than my old TVR's I know) previous TVR's I owned were a sorted RR Cerbera and a 5 ltr Griff. I loved the ownership of the TVRs to a point (enthusiast spirit etc) but they were also a pain in the ass and a bit of a liability in terms of reliability. I know the SPD6 is or can be sorted less painfully now. I wouldn't go back to a TVR now for my only 'toy'. I went the GTR route (630hp) and the noise, road presence and capabilities in a straight line and even more so round the bends (especially in the wet) is on a different level with the GTR to my old cars. The acceleration in the GTR is bordering on the ridiculous, with many proven tuners offering even more if you want it.. I also got a few derisory commend with Blackpools finest, (kit car, Tow Very Regularly etc) only ever had good compliments so far with the Nissan..
Not very many negatives for the GTR, maybe people who comment on the characterless of the GTR would be better off in a TVR, but I know which I would rather be in. I still yearn for a 5 litre Griff now but have nowhere to put it and don't have enough Browny points with the boss yet... Cheers

4 years on, what differences in depreciation have both cars experienced?

I voted for the Sagaris and would love to own one, but I'm sure I'd regret it.

Ignoring the oddness ofthe thread, for me personally I'd want a black Gt-R always loved it in black. Awesome.

Sag for me, its not about how fast you get to 62, its not about reliability.

Its down to whats rarer, i have 2 gtrs in my street and i've only ever seen 1 sag as it flew pass me when i had my pink polo. It was stunning and the noise was just brilliant.

GTR for me nothing like it in the marketplace

For me if getting a TVR would rather just have a Tuscan 2 or T350 at 1/2 the price not sure what extra the sag brings really rather than an inflated price due to being the last TVR great car but not worth what people are paying for them currently imo.

Whilst clearly the Sagaris has had better residuals, the GTR has done bloody well compared to just about anything else.
