there are thousands of alternatives to the 2 rally reps that are as much fun to drive, better equipped, more comfortable, cheaper to buy, insure and fuel and better screwed together.
Like what?must have more than 200bhp as standard
must be reliable
I'm all ears

Gotta say i did have an Subaru Sti
Granted it was super quick it had been modded quite a bit, nothing outside, just more under the bonnet. The only clue to the big power was the intercooler at the front which also was not over the top.
However i have to say, it did look a bit Chav and all the Chav's loved it..... i had to sell it!
Too much bad attention, even though it was a very quick car.

Closest I've seen to an example of the claim above so far. Certainly not 'thousands' though!
_Alternative to rally-rep?/_ Well it is another rally-rep, but I agree they were meaning Impreza/Evo so will give you that one.
_As much fun to drive?/_ Slower and duller as standard but easily modified.
_Better equipped/more comfortable?/_ Similar equipment level, perhaps slightly softer suspension, much less practical - I've sat in (across) the back of a Celica and wouldn't want to repeat it!
_Cheaper to buy/insure/fuel?/_ Buy/insure I'm in the wrong country to comment but expect similar thirst to a WRX.
_Better screwed together?/_ Being a Toyota you expect it to be solid, though to be honest I've never had any complaints about Subaru build quality either.
