or8881: launched into a tirade back up the above, and also mooted "banning" for 6m etc

audi321: in his infinite wisdom then started calling our good friend Daz "what a knob" etc

Doshy: then came piling in insinuating that Daz was too thick to remember his name etc

So, how do you think that lot went down eh Gents ?

I think some people really need to get out more/get lives/get laid/whatever, because sitting on here all day wibbling on about what other people are getting up to and moaning about it really isn't that productive. Life is too short.

This thread just looks like a load of disgruntled Victor Meldrew types sitting about moaning about stuff that really isnt that important (and slagging off good people that you dont even know during the process)

.....oh and for the record, that God awful plate on my Rangey lasted about 2 weeks before I realised what a ridiculous purchase that was, rest assured it will never see the Queens Highway again

I think it's fair to say anyone who would spend over a hundred grand on a R8 V10 is serious about motoring.

Doesn't mean you have to have an expensive car to be serious about motoring. A was a petrol head when I had a £1700 205 GTi.

And it was me that used the word dheads, which was quickly removed ( rightly so on reflection ), I had had a nice bottle of wine at that point and should not have used that terminology. None of us are perfect and I apologise for that one genuinely

Take the piss out of plates you find funny by all means, but be mindful who you personally attack and make derogatory insulting and rude comments about would be my advice.

If someone is illegally displaying a fake number plate then they deserve any stick they get. If number plates aren't clearly legible, then why even bother having them?

I couldn't really care less if someone wants to cover their car in Halford tat as it doesn't affect me... but fake number plates potentially do affect everyone else if they're involved in incidents and anyone seeing it can't provide the number plate of the cars involved.

So to recap. Daz comes in here and insults everybody. Gets some back and cries off to wherever and you lot come out of the woodwork with the considerably richer than yow bks. This thread has absolutely nothing to do with jealousy, there are expensive and non expensive cars with st plates. Nobody is discriminating. It's light hearted fun and no different from any of the other similar threads. I don't see you lot posting on the "classified horrors", "one thing that makes you think 'knob'" or any number of observationally humourous threads that run on here.

I think you've all done enough to get this closed now anyway so props for that.
