Personally I would not consider it light hearted fun if you walked up to me and called me a knob, suggested I get banned from driving for wearing a certain plate or said I was stupid - maybe you lot think that's fun but most people would not

Well there is a huge difference between walking up to someone and calling them a knob, and offering an opinion that their blatant disregard for the law around license plates should result in a ban. icetea said:

2. Icetea you are a knob, you should be banned from driving and you are clearly thick

We've been members of this community a lot longer than, you so don't give it the "coming out if the woodwork" rubbish. Who said anything about being richer than anyone? One if the private plate enthusiasts said he knew how much money Moz and I had, we never mentioned it.ks. This thread has everything to do with jealousy and bitterness. It's exactly why PH gets ridiculed on the more grown up motoring websites.
I personally don't care whether you lot get off on photographing number plates and uploading them to the Internet, I do care about Daz getting the sort of abuse he got, and the inconsistency applied in banning members by Garlic and the moderators.

DVLA have just relaxed laws on spacing of letters, it was hurting revenues so they said, put them where you want, just don't deface them.... (putting a screw whole is not classed as disfigurement as plates have to be attatched "securely")

Where is the jealousy and bitterness angle coming from as I can't see it at all. You can see £100k+ cars being posted alongside £50 bangers. I don't think jealousy comes into it at all. All I see is someone with an expensive car (wrongly) playing the 'jealousy' card as everyone thinks his st number plate looks awful.
