This thread has everything to do with jealousy and bitterness. It's exactly why PH gets ridiculed on the more grown up motoring websites.
Where is the jealousy and bitterness angle coming from as I can't see it at all. You can see £100k+ cars being posted alongside £50 bangers. I don't think jealousy comes into it at all. All I see is someone with an expensive car (wrongly) playing the 'jealousy' card as everyone thinks his st number plate looks awful.
If you can't see it with all the examples and explanations you've already been given then there's no hope for you. Your teachers must pull their hair out marking your homework!

I can't see it because its not there. Some people need to get this simple fact into their heads - people are posting pics of the cars in question as they, in their opinions, have bad number plates on them. The value of the car, or jealousy, simply isn't coming into the equation.

The audi r8 got more stick than most of the other posts, as it was a worse offender than most of the others.

Either click report, or email Garlick if you have issues with the thread or website moderation.
I don't think they would listen.
Give then a chance, (probably would have been better before :handbags: started)

It's pretty simple, really.

If you want take the piss out of 'chav plates', then go ahead. Nock yourself out. It appears this is what this very thread is for.

However when you start personally attacking the owners of the plates calling them nobs etc ESPECIALLY when they are members of this forum and are likely to see it, is out of order. Just because we are on the internet behind computers is no reason to start behaving like utter mindless tools.

Oh dear, clearly we are poles apart here on various levels

I've said what I want to say, so I'm outta here ..... I have spent enough time in 'let's get our knickers in a twist about number plates world'

Have a great life all you aggrieved number plate spotters

I can't take all this excitement.

Very tiresome, and seems to be dragged down by folk who want to cause trouble. I suspect they think it's fun.

I'll close it here and we'll open a volume II next week, in the meantime we can busy ourselves with the DVLA spacing rules wink
