A15TON on M25
No illegal spacing, no suspect font and most people would read it as "Aston". Can't see the problem with this one to be honest.
DVLA On line Auction have just sold "A115TON" For £350 inc VAT and Transfer.!

Hi XPOW and a few others - my first visit, I'm usually on the 'really good number plates' thread - some absolute shockers on here!!
IMHO, the only excuse for a butchered plate is if it is really funny. Any advance on WH05 HAT on a lorry delivering portable toilets??
Hi M3DGE

Pimlico Plumbers have loads of plates incl LO0 4 POO I think too which look funny. As a few on here know, I'm bit of a purist on plates, but like you say, some of these plates are pretty funny on the road eh. wink

Was this in/around Central Birmingham? If so I've seen it too and believe it to be R5PKT.

I posted H12 ABX a while ago, spaced as H1 2 AB X.

On the way home yesterday I saw an E46 M3 with H2 ABX, spaced H 2 AB X.

I get what they're trying to do with the first, awful as it is, but the second one... I just don't get it.

That's the one then. I saw it going the opposite way on the M6, not far from Junction 6 (Aston/Star City).

There was an XFR parked near my house the other day with the plate "M15 SPY".

WTF?

If you are one (which is very unlikely), then that's just bizarrely unsubtle.

If you aren't, then.....well, words fail me.

There should definitely be some stepping up of the rules applied to mis-spacing of number plates. For example, there is a black Audi A6 local to me that is driving round with the registration number UK 05 AMA spaced out to read UK OSAMA. It happens to be driven by a young Asian lad and is surely not doing anything to help gel communities together. A friend of mine has reported it to the police to try and get the number withdrawn but nothing has happened. Funny that the authorities don't seem to do anything about this group of people who are usually driving round in their leased high end cars talking on their mobile phones and not wearing seatbelts. If you don't believe me that this car exists do a 'dummy' valuation check on www.webuyanycar.com and see it for your own eyes.

Danny.

I can't seem to find UK 05AMA but I do know the DVLA mark up those plates up ( http://bit.ly/gaSY7K ).
I suppose Osama was just an ordinary name before 911.

At least they didn't change it to read Brabus. We should be grateful.

Yep. I saw it headed the opposite direction on the A38(M) whilst I was on my way into Birmingham.
