God they really cocked this up. Shame really because the prestige hatch market with the Golf/A3/1-Series style cars could do with a decent Japanese alternative. But this. . .is wide of the mark. Interior looks good but exterior looks terrible, truly terrible.

Based upon your point of view, a Toyota release in Japan might be all about the car or all about the sizzle. Automotive News sides with the previous, although the publication's description of the recent release party for the Lexus CT 200h suggests that the experience has left the car behind - not exactly at the beginning line, but somewhere within the dust.
