Not to me personally. Audi one is okay, Golf just looks a mess.

Street Rods look ace though. cool

Edit - just noticed the grenade gearleaver in Audi. Genius

I did used to be really into the "look"....until I moved on.

Not a fan of either of those however.

I believe the A6 belongs to an old friend of the gf as well.

what I dont get is how these things pass the MOT with rust like that? Also you must have to do something to stop the rust going all the way through

Very big in the VW world; I've seen a lot of examples at VW Action (Golfs, Camper Vans etc), but it's not a look I "get". But, each to their own and all that.

There's a Mk2 Scirocco which is half rat/half standard, which is rather odd. I'll see if I can dig out some pictures.

They sand them down and leave them outside, the panels only have surface rust on them, then they clearcoat the panels.

I think .

Apart from the fact the Audi appears to be running on four "special spares", it does look quite cool.

My first car looked a bit like that. I didn't realise what a pioneer I was twenty-five years ago.

I like the look if done properly, if I get another car for daily use I'm tempted to get a few mates over and go to work on my kia, its worth nothing anyway so no great loss if it goes tits up.

I think if you do it you know its all about the fun of it and don't expect to be taken seriously, given a choice I'd take one of those over a barried car anyday.

I quite like the look of that! I have seen a rat look E28 (I think) 5 series with a black bonnet and roof rack, that had a certain charm.
