The best supercar number plate?
Discussion
1 DOL (IDOL) on a Porsche 959 in the 80's in the Patrick Collection & there used to be a Rolls Royce Corniche around the Edgbaston, Birmingham area with the number RFU 2.
TUR 130 (TURBO) used to sit on Porsche's 911 Turbo press cars as did THE 911 & THE 911S.
I also bought 426GTO for the princely sum of £250.00 not long after i brought the Patrick Collections 288 GTO back from Italy in 1985.
Also we had many cars with PMG numbers (PMG 1: 1 PMG etc) on the plates to signify the Patrick Motors Group back in the 80's & 90's.
Happy days.

This was at Auto Italia last year. The Enzo parked next to it had the plate EN 20 too, which was lovely. Haven't read through all 17 pages, but I wonder if anyone has mentioned the plate Piccadilly Motors have on their 8C Competizione: THE 8C.
The first two (and several other great plate/car's) are owned by a well known (in the enthusiast/forum circles) car enthusiast. IIRC, it was the chap who started Wolfrace Wheels, twizellb said:
I remember speaking to Eric Clapton one friday night in the rush hour in London and his Testerossa had the plate "5114 TR", which i thought was very cool.
Yeah i know the worst "I spoke to Eric Clapton" post ever
Is it just the TR reference or is there meaning in the 5114 too?Yeah i know the worst "I spoke to Eric Clapton" post ever

Sorry but there is nothing sadder than someone with an Aston with a number plate that has the numbers 007 or any letters with a James Bond connection. The reality is that they will be an accountant or something equally as dull.
This plate looks good.
Without doubt this plate belongs on a blacked out Sagaris, the fezza's too prettyThis plate looks good.
