LHD - i have a question re: RR Sports and the online configurator thingy.

Not a completely useless question, as 'we' will be getting either an RR Sport or Evoque 5dr when we return from Mexico in 2yrs.

We would like a RR Sport TDV6 HSE in Bali Blue, with the Tan Premium Perf. seats.

But on the configurator, it won't let you spec them together, i can spec the tan, but only with the Baltic Blue.

Now, if we're spending £60k on a car, i'd rather like to have it in the spec i want, whether some marketing bod in Range Rover thinks it looks good or not.

Can it be done?
You can have Bali with Tan should you want.

It'll be the last car you'll ever buy as you'll never be able to sell it.

Bali looks superb with Ivory.

Whatever you go for, the extended leather package is a must.

If i was to spec one:

Sport HSE: Nara Bronze with Almond - Straight Grain wood and Nutmeg carpet and dark top roll - Extended leather package - 20" 5 spoke wheels in silver finish.

FF A/B: Bournville with Parchment, Black top roll and black leather headlining - 14 piece cherry wood. 20" Vogue SE wheels.
Ah, it'll probably be a lease, so resale not an issue (for us).

We will of course have to go see lots in the different colours etc before a final decision is made. I was just wondering if it's possible to spec as we wish.

Thanks.

It's not a recommended combo but it can be had.

Be prepared for a long wait for it...

It’s not convertible and it has four seats, absolutely spot on Bolt’

After the more obvious contenders F40 et etc the 456 is still my most favoured Ferrari, a nice navy one, manual box and few days away on the continent to sweep her up through the Alps.

Well it puts you on your toes on a grim Friday morning, still a lorry should be arriving in a few hours with the new arrival tethered to the back.

I still hold out some hope of being able to experience a form of C43 itnf, after which point, we shall reconvene to appraise things.
If you do find one, let me know - it's been a while since I supped at the AMG bar, so may very well reappraise my stance.

On a related note;

as the 7'er was posted a few pages back at bargain £1800....

Im drawn to this one, http://www.pistonheads.co.uk/sales/2116399.htm ok its a few quid more, but it comes with 6 months warranty! Do you think this could be left standing for a month at a time and stand up to sporadic use?

Yo, Norf;' breath suitably bated. Do let me know.

Dunk; great car, been in a few - may even prefer to the last gen RS6 - interior quality was fine but the driving position great. Noise, some poise and effective horizon haul.

Graham; e38s have now officially taken up permanent residence in The Silly Zone.

Now then, I wonder if the fraudsters stock e39 Emfunf parking light assemblies?

On...

Hmmm. I need (want) to replace the Volvo in the next few months, and this is a whole lot of Subtle Go for seven and a bit;

those C32's sound EPIC. There is a black estate like the one posted on the airfield where i work. It stops outside the office window for the taxiway crossing, then the guy nails it across to the tower!

They also go like a dose.

Agree re Q prognosis.

Know another bod after one (which is why the C43 may be freeing up.)

Phenomenally quick in my experience! I'm sure those engines must have very healthy horses or an engine gearbox/combo that is perfectly mated wrt gears/power/torque etc. I've heard people say they rust easily .....but they really do motor for the power/weight quoted smile

Chaps, these OEM Bose systems that these Audi's and Merc's come with.

How council are they? Can they rattle yer fillings out, or will I be searching out upgrades?
