RE: Bugatti Saloon Back In Black
Discussion
Oh come on - No-one REALLY thought VW bought Bugatti JUST to lose millions on the Veyron project did they?
Something more mainstream (and derivative - I see more Continental than Panamera myself) was always going to follow and this is it.
Not having a million quid to spare I'm not really core target audience, but it looks a lot better than a Maybach to me...
Classy interior - It looks a reasonably credible Rolls competitor to me based on photos alone.

When the first images were released I thought that the interior looked very cold. My opinion has now changed though; it looks great in these photos. I agree with the comment about not having a shot of the front. I thought that was strange too.
I can't believe the amount of exhausts on the car. For a million quid I'd expect at least ten.

In the past, Bugatti has been credited with designing some of most beautiful cars ever. Clearly, the Galibier has taken styling cues from the Atlantic. However, whilst taking some of the destinctive featues of earlier Bugattis, the Galibier is not like its predecessor, an achingly beautiful car, and inspiration to other stylists (eg the Jag XK120 coupe). as others have said, it just looks like so many other euro super-saloons e.g Porsche and Bentley.

Maybach has almost gone now . . .M.
Autoblog.com says: "If a recent report out of the UK is to be believed, Maybach is set to get the axe in the very near future. However, as a last hurrah, all three models from the ultra-luxury division of Mercedes-Benz (57, 62 and Landaulet) will receive facelifts this year. The last round of top-zoot Maybachs will debut in late April at the Beijing Motor Show. Expect the changes to the lineup to be very minor – new grilles and LED lights should be about the only differences from the sedans currently on sale."
. . . so there's room for a luxo barge like this Bug.
