This nice weather has got me thinking about classic convertables. Nothing wrong with the modern ones but driving down a nice country road with the top down in an old car just seems a perfect setting to me.

If you had a maximum of 10k, what would you choose?

For some additional fun, a money no object choice too smile
How about a few different options biggrin

Ok.

Landrover.

Jeep 'thing'.

Murtaya.

Is someone seriously going to stick up for those, as being relevant in a 'sexy classic converibles' thread?

Even the Saab 900 is 100000 times closer to the mark than those 3, and the Saab is pretty way outfield.

The Murtaya, ok it's a modern kit based, low volumn car. And looks better or worse at different angles, but it's only a picture, so not going to worry.

As for the Landy and Jeep, why not?

Both considered classics and the best at what they do. Both desirable, both have a huge following and owners support world wide. And most certainly classics in every sense of the word. Jeep sporting a history of nearly 70 years and Land Rover not far behind.

And they are both considered sexy enough to be able to buy pictures of them in posters and have dedicated magazines.
