There are TWO of these in the world?

From the "horrors in the PH Classified thread":

How about this horror, it has 7 screens on show. But it's bound to have the obligatory screens in the boot and engine bay. It even has screens in the seats. Which if you're sitting on the damn things, precludes any chance of seeing them work. The guy who owns it was seen wearing a cream leather jacket with burgundy piping and a total of eight 7" screens in the back*.

Now, I'm possibly going against the general rules of PH here, but I do kinda like the exterior treatment of that car. The colour is gorgeous, although the rear arches are a tad on the big side.

Although why the freakin' feck would anyone put screens down between the legs???? Actually, I can think of a reason in the front, but in the back seats, where you can't even sit, its just plain stupid.

Definitely, looks like one of those Cartoon style Jap cars, Boso or something like that?

Dear God no. I wish I had never opened that link. I feel my urge to kill rising !!
9 TV screens!!! For when 8 just won't do presumably?

To balance the argument, there are a few beauties on show. This just isn't one of them.

  • Absolute conjecture..... wink
Having met Ben a handful of times. He's a good bloke. He knows his car is a show car that a lot of people won't "get" but the quality of the work is very very high. And that's why I can appreciate it.

AS for the link to Evo Technik. I don't see anything that good there. Just a lot of standard cars on crap looking alloys. And car bras! I mean come on! laugh

These exhausts

And this

Are probably the more questionable parts of mine being a 1.0 and all but I just love the sound of both so I don’t really care smile

Even the euro look stretch tyres, the over sized snow plough and arches and that shark nose?

Think what it could have been and you'll see, it is bad.

It looks like a bit of a willy wagon but no more than lots of other cars, many of which are in general production... I reckon it looks quite funky and seems to be quite well done. The tyre stretching is a bit silly but could be easily corrected and make a quirky car.

I am assuming that it has a fairly ludicrously insane engine to match it's silly exterior of course - I will retract my above statement if it turns out to have a piddly little engine.

No idea i'm afraid, only seen this pic of it. Straight 6 as standard though.

Compared to how a Z can be done, i think that looks wk. If it needs things changed to make it look decent then those are bad mods.

Hence why it's in here m'lud.

A set of larger alloys, with proper tyres and that would be perfect.

Saw this today in Alford;

I've met the lad who owns this on a few occasions. Hangs out with the guys from EastsideVW, an Aberdeen based VW club. real great bunch a guys and a really nice car... doesn't belong here!!
I'm sure he is but those wheels are truly terrible.
Seriously???

They are BBS RS's.

You are really caling those terrible??
I probably should have been clearer. It's the way it sits on the wheels because it has been lowered so much that's the real issue.

But still not a big fan of the wheels. Very 80s IMHO
I've seen this car a lot in Aberdeen. The guy works in Dyce IIRC.

I liked it when it was running the 'Cali-spec' bumpers, coilovers and BBS LMs. Now it looks a little silly IMO and appears to be all but undriveable.
