Wrong thread?
Yes!Was at the BMW museum in Munich a couple of weeks ago (much drooling was done, damn my flat camera battery) - I'd love to have seen this in amongst their racing saloons!
I'm sure someone could wangle that calling it a Baja Special or something

Ok not the worst example, but saw this on another forum and just wondered what the owner was thinking
Maybe they were auditioning their car for Fast & Furious 6 with all the extra led's, neon's & drl's
did the trick though, stood out enough for you to take a picture of it!Maybe they were auditioning their car for Fast & Furious 6 with all the extra led's, neon's & drl's

I didn't take the pic - i just borrowed it off another poster on a Ford forum i use On a different note your Anglia is well deserving of its place in the decently modified thread

BMW E28 535 Race Car - $7500 (Kula)
"This car has won Fastest Time of Day at more SCCA Autocross events, by far, for the last ten years than any other car -including last month.
Fastest car on the island; has beaten many Porsches, ZO6 Corvettes, Ferraris, real Cobras, Lamborghinis - and you name it, almost every month for a decade. Well over $30,000 invested. Exceptionally reliable, extremely low mileage on every component. The very best of everything.
3.7 liter inline 6 engine, custom built; very radical, but understressed, finest components. Aluminum flywheel, 4-speed manual ultralight but indestructible Getrag gearbox, teflon coated in and out. Quaiffe 3.46 differential, Bilsteins, coilovers, polyurethane, Ground Control custom suspension. Full custom chromemoly rollcage, race seat, fuel cell and system, carbon fiber trunklid , fiberglass hood. Custom gooahjez and fuel control, full custom exhaust, JetCoat headers. 2500 pounds, 300 horsepower. Race tires and wheels from 16 x13 to 18x 10, your choice, extras negotiable. Complete racing fire extinguisher system, spoilers, 5-point racing seatbelts, etc.
I am a BMW specialist pro mechanic, so the car is very well kept and maintained. This car is insured, registered, and saftied, and driven to the racetrack, not trailered - but it is not a street car. Damned fine beast if you like winning, though.
See MauiSCCA.net for many more photos and race results, or see the car in action at any scheduled Maui SCCA event. "
