From the PH classifieds - a very badge confused car. It has a Vauxhall badge on the steering wheel, VXR badge on the rear, Holden badges, Pontiac GTO badges, and extremely naff "supercharged" and power output stickers. Mechanical changes certainly sound tasty though.

Is the exhaust there to help with driving through water, like with this defender?

thats a disco..

and a significant quantity water will never enter the exhaust whilst the engine is running..

that disco has other problems to worry about driving around in salt water like that hehe

All of those badges are technically right, but does get a bit confusing hehe

Does this give a new meaning to "badge engineering"? Probably not.......

Looks like Top Gear made it, although the TG Renault Espace they made convertable was much better lol

Factory edition in Spain although the right hand drive conversion is a bit bodged. Fully restored (it's on my watch list even though it's a 500 mile round trip) the car could be worth £2,000 > £3,500. That's original condition restoration not chopped about a bodged like Channel Five would have you believe.

I spotted this parked in a layby today. It ticks all the boxes for a cliché'd old Polo:

Collapsed suspension? Tick (why do the owners of Polos in particular do this?)
Driver's seat fully reclined? Tick
German style number plate? Tick
Partially rotated VW grille badge? Tick
Rear view mirror decoration? Tick
Drive-thru' cup on roof? Tick

Seeing that made me proud to be British! laugh
