That said, if Mercedes spell anything wrong I instantly lose interest.
Kompressor? "no thanks sausage-munchers, you can stuff it!"
Ok, I give you the Brak/Brake thing, but what's wrong with "Kompressor"? It's a german word like "supercharger" is an english one...Kompressor? "no thanks sausage-munchers, you can stuff it!"

But then I thought at least they dare to show they are German; "COMPRESSOR" or "SUPERCHARGED" are fine, but all over the World you only see English words! So why not in German...
I even find it stupid to see French cars with English names. French is a nice language (compared to most), and for example to see "Jumper" on a Peugeot does seem very odd.
I thought it was Shooting Break" for the Aston Martin.
"Shooting Brake" sounds rather as if one used the car to slow down hunters!
I'm not sure if it's an ironic joke but perhaps if PH is going to unleash a 'kampaign for propur speeling' it might like to clear its own house first. How about spelling Gorden Wagener's name correctly for a start. You got it right the first time you mention him by name but then the second time you call him Gordon. Is this the same person or someone else?
Wagener: "Yeah, whatever...""To be honest, I thought it could be spelled either way," Gordon admitted with a grinNicely done.

So when the chance came to quiz Mercedes-Benz design boss Gorden Wagener about the name of his latest concept car
And then in a rather ironic fashion the feature writer seems to reflect what Gorden says by writing... said:
