Chances of that happening without instantly stalling the engine? 750rpm idle and popping the clutch will stall, plain and simple. Hardly "fly into the car in front".
I imagine if he's the type of mongoloid to keep their foot on the brake during traffic, he's possibly also the type of mongoloid to stop 1" behind the car in front smile
Right, so I'm a mongoloid now?
Possibly.
Definitely.

Brakes are designed to be used, if the car is unable to remain stationary (ie not on a flat surface) then the brake is the correct thing to use.

Correct. The handbrake. So you don't dazzle other road users. Mongoloid.

Brake lights do not dazzle, if you are affected by brake lights so badly (which tend to be the same people who are affected by fog lights) then may I suggest you visit you local optometrist as there is clearly something wrong your your, failing that visit the local psychiatrist.

I have never in my life been dazzled by a brake light, a fog light, or anything bar some of those HIDs.

When you pull up to a set of traffic lights, you brake, put the car into neutral, and keep the brake pressed until someone joins the queue behind you. Then you take your foot off the brake. This is so you alert following traffic that you are stationary, but once they are behing you , you remove your foot off the brake.

Is that so difficult to comprehend, or are you just as much of a mongoloid when you are driving as when you are parking?

There are rumors this technology will appear on the next M5 which I sincerely hope is not the case as nobody buying an M5 could care less about fuel economy.

raised brake lights are a nightmare, right at eye level so you can't see past that vehicle, meant to be safer but not for me, pain in the butt. What if there was technology that meant you would start stop drive to your engine whenever you could take advantage of momentum, last mile before a slip road on a dual carriageway, 75% of any mile stretch of road in countrysiude or urban setting, hills, etc etc??? And before anyone says coasting is illegal, it isn't, I have worldwide patent for such a device but trying to generate any interest is very hard. On one 5 mile stretch of road I used to drive, if every car did drive in that way it would remove 9.4 million miles of pollution & fuel consumption each year, nationally billions of miles worth, reduces tyre wear, brake wear, noise etc, what do you think, maybe a separate post I can go into more detail once I've cleared it with my patent attorney but this is a start without saying too much, UK patent is granted, now working on Europe & all of the USA, would make start stop technology look silly, worthless & half a job.

Brake lights dazzling?

Not a chance.

I'll put the handbrake on if I'll be waiting a while, if you know it's not long until the lights change there's little point.

Are you a car-light vampire then or something, because there is nothing dazzling about brake lights, fog lights, and so on

I often get dazzled by high intensity rear lights like brake lights and fog lights. I hate people who sit on the brakes in traffic. One of the most inconsiderate common driving habits in the UK IMHO. That's partly driving a low car though, brake lights tend to be at about head height for me, cars with brake lights on the C-pillars are nowhere near as bad.

Not as bad as front fog lights though. At least you don't need to be able to see anything when you're stationary in traffic.

Christ on a bike how old are you? Seriously, read your last half dozen posts in here and ask yourself if they come across as being written by an intelligent level headed adult or not?

There does seem to be a common element in a number of recent threads which have descended into handbags and playground antics. That common factor isn't Bing o.

So you wont mind if I put my lights on Full Beam when I'm behind you at the Traffic Lights to counter you with your foot on the foot brake ?

Are you too lazy to use your parking brake ?

PS :- An optician on another thread with a similar theme suggests that maybe you need an eye test if you don't get dazzled by headlamps and brake lights.
