Looks like a good day out and the Chim figures are very impressive.

Only ever put one of my cars on a rolling road once. Was too scared to watch. boxedin

Couple of Points

1) Pauls Chim is the best standard 4L I've ever done, and I've done about 200 of them (thanks for the cheque Paul)

2) The 460/470 I quoted for the M6 was because it was running normal unleaded, On super the V10 almost always does 500bhp.
What about the 370z? down on torque and up on power, does this mean it was making power higher in the rev range than Nissan quote?

Stop it! I'm beaming with pride here
Great result. If the fuelling was spot on then I'd say your car has been set up by Mark Adams or one of the other RV8 experts. If you're in the mood then take a look inside the ECU and see if there is an EPROM in place of the std PROM. Mark coaxed 241hp out of my old Chimaera after spending quite a few hours fiddling (N669 JMR are you out there?).

Let me come back to you when i've done more that one hehe

The 350 had a rep for never making quoted power or torque, so its a step in the right direction.

Where's surrey rolling road? I might get my GT2 over there if they're handy.
No point they don't do pork.
I'm not sure that's quite true... I've seen a number of 'porks' run at Charlies.

Charlie, care to comment as to which ones your Dyno doesn't like?

Why is that?

Is it because of diffs etc?

(I don't own a Pork, but am just intersted smile )

They need alot of air onto the intercoolers, and because of where they are positioned, it is difficult to get it there, and they are sooo senstive to heat.

Forgive my naievty (sp) but if I was to bring my car down to you, I run it on your RR and then you can point out where the power is down etc

If I wanted to then fix that, is that something you can do as well or recommend what to do

I've heard the E30 takes a chip/map quite well

Nice figures on the TVR smile

Kinda curious, but do you use correction factors or are all the figures STD? Also are they metric or Imperial?

Cheers smile

Paul - nice result on the grif! She looks in great condition, must be good to know the engines in top fettle too

Wish i didnt need a boot for work, a grif like that would be just the ticket for summer....
