Morning Guys,
Here is a link to a Mazda MX-6 that was raced by Piers MacFheorais at Mondello Park last weekend.
This guy can drive and I love the way that he safely sorted out the pesky Peugeots in video one.
Unfortunately sticking rear calipers ruined his chances.
In fact he is a fantastic race driver in a great car, totally respectful and safe.
Here's the onboard footage...

Paula
PS. Here's some fotos of his car
This is a link to a report on the race.

Hey good thread guys. I can vouch for the MX6 still being the smooth fast cruiser it originally was (hi Paula). Back in the day I turned down it's grown up charms for a Celica "because I'd always wanted one", regretted it in time coz of lack of torque. The Nissan 200 was a nutter car and the Corrado a bit old fashioned (then!) inside. The SOTW car might just be a fabulous deal at under £1k, tho white isn't the best colour IMO.
Hi Lucy,
Saw John at Brands last Sunday and he said that he wishes he still had one.
Looking forward to seeing you and Anna on Sunday at Brooklands ....

Holy thread resurrection Batman!
I think I may have bought one of these on eBay last night after a couple of vinos. Off to kick the tyres this evening and decide whether to take it or to hand over just the deposit and walk away.
Wish me luck … it’ll be my first non-Porsche car and my first proper shed.
