Keyed, dented and clocked?

Nice!

Would rather spend a bit more on this and get a manual:

Are you still after a 328i Matt or getting an M3 instead?
328i really Mike, budget wont stretch to a decent M3.

Finding one is the hard part!
There's one sitting about 2 miles from you wink
I know, I'm just not sure if I can tackle the electrical niggles.

Now I've seen the pics in your ad it has made me think, hard.
They're hardly biggies. The car runs beautifully without them being resolved. Theboymoon nicks it every so often, he can vouch for it.

If anything, take a look, drive it, dismiss it, least you've looked and you've had a good gander.

I've got a 325i Saloon which has done 130k and its a really nice car. Not great on the track, but its a fantastic road car. It is starting to show its age in some areas though, I replaced all four dampers and put some new springs in, I've replaced the front lower arms and bushes, I've replaced all of the brake lines as they were rusty.

Mine has the same wheels as your car too, although I don't believe mine has been clocked! wink

There's nothing behind it, I'm replacing both my cars with an M5, so I need them shifted. If it doesnt sell by then, I'll MOT it myself and consider sorting a few of the things out, but right now, I've priced it appropriately - once I rectify the issues, it'll bring the value up...

ETA: I've had all the right things done, bushes, brake lines, no clocking anywhere wink

Matt - knowing you're quite mechanically competent the coolant sensor and pad sensor are very easy. I can reset the airbag light for you ( or tell you whether it's the occupancy mat or latch ) with the tool. Chances are someone has changed the steering wheel or pushed the seat back quickly ( or left something under it rolling around ) to trigger the warning light. I'm down in Bristol quite often ( or at Combe ).
Not sure on the fuel light - mine was just the sender wires under the seat though

I had an hours diag done on it, and it was certainly found it WASNT the fuel sender, so you may be right.

Either way, easy fixes for someone with the time and a garage.

Matt, talk to me off line chap wink

Nice SOTW - used to own an E36 328i coupe, and a friend of mine had a car very similar to this.

Silky smooth engines, great power and torque available on tap.

Those 0-60 times are a bit optimistic - 6.1 and 6.4 seconds?! I think NOT! That is E28 and E34 M5 territory!

They are in the late-6, to mid-7 time ranges.

Hope you enjoy the car!

I too would be concerned. Did you do a HPI check? If not there might be tears before bedtime...

So glad you finally got one of these, after all those months of tea-break discussions and umming-and-arring. Nice one!

Also, good to see the PH fleet's average age (and mileage) being held up nice and high. Even if this particular addition is somewhat dubious in it's precise figure...

Looks like a bit of a bargain. I loved my 325 auto coupe.

Worth getting the auto box serviced ASAP though if you have 140k on it. Those things were 'sealed for life', and life=140k miles on the button. Get a good auto specialist to flush it through, new fluids, filters etc and you cant go wrong.

ps a nice 6 cylinder 3 series with a dead auto box is worth precisely what the scrap man will give you for it. Dont take the risk.
