Probably the most scary crash pics I've seen (not involving fatalities or serious injuries). Nothing to do with me, but it was a single car incident with only the driver - who amazingly walked away.

Excuse me, but where the fk is the road?... and the fence for that matter?! yikes
This probably explains it better - the Evo had gone through the fence and turned through 180* either in or before entering the ditch.

Is that Craigs old car....?

Still miss this car frown

Hit a van on a dual carriageway. I had a couple of witnesses who saw the other guy stop on the centre reservation to chase another guy across the road with a lump of wood! He then got back into his van and pulled straight out into the outside lane in front of me.. I swerved left but caught him with a glancing blow before ending up in the trees on the left. Luckily there were lots of small trees rather than one big one!

Got a full payout as he admitted full liability.

What did you hit?
Hit that wall in the background, then hit a signpost and ended up in the middle of the road.
Was rush hour at the time and still can't believe I avoided hitting any other cars.

Jesus! How fast were you going in rush hour to do that much damage?

To be fair modern crumple zones, whilst doing their vital job, can make a 30MPH impact look like the fist of an angry God hit your car.

My poor old Jag after I spun across all three lanes of the A13 and hit the central reservation backwards after some dickless pickup driver tried to cut into the lane I was driving in. Should have just hit him instead of taking avoiding action

Does vandalism count?

Both my cars at the time, someone put the window through on the 106, sprayed lighter fluid on the dash and lit it, the heat from the blaze melted the Legnum. Coppers put it down to mistaken identity.

In fairness that was from a hill climb event at Cadwell. Driver was bloody fortunate to get out unaided and walk away ..

Spot on, only just joined the sliproad from an almost stationary roundabout so not really fast at all. Crumple zone did an excellent job. With that and the airbags my only injury was a small cut on my head.

And before

Not technically my crash, more, my car, stolen from a bodyshop and destroyed…. Nice…
I remember you posting that over on S2forum.. still boils my piss when I see those "after" pics frown
What happened to this? Vandalism or just a straight forward prang?
It was a combination of both sadly. It was deliberately crashed in a woodland car park just outside Goodwood. It would also appear from the SOCO report they then discovered the limits of their talent. Alas, this involved a complete barrel roll into the trees.

There is are some things T cut wont fix, that crash would be one of them!

These aren't mine - my friend sent me them after he crashed his car whilst drunk. There was a girl in the passenger seat. Don't think she spoke to him much after this...

At the end of the day as long as it's only twisted metal not people it's fine. A car can always be replaced.

Slip road of the M62 in winter, slid across two lanes, went backwards up the banking into the trees and rolled over.

Had two police cars, two highways agency cars an ambulance and a fire engine turn out!

Because you are trying to link to an HTML webpage not an image. Try dagging the image to the address bar to get the actual image URL.
