0-100mph in 6.8sec in a RWD car?
Not my kind of car at all, but mightily impressive none-the-less.
Quick yes, impressive indeed . Although both Maccy F1 and XJ220 are quicker I recall and both RWD too. And a new Corvette ZR1 is rated at 7.0 0-100mph.Not my kind of car at all, but mightily impressive none-the-less.

Probably a great car, but that black bonnet just looks utter crap IMO. As in it looks like it's been stacked and only part fixed. Unforgivable.
But it is carbon, just not painted I assume.300bhp/ton said:

But it is carbon, just not painted I assume.I love pistonheads Here much like the LFA we have a peice of automative brilliance designed and built by true enthusiasts striving for perfection, and someone complains about the carbon bonnet lmao. I personally salute you Porsche for this fine car. This story reminds me very much about the 3 guys who built the original Mk1 Golf GTI on their own then sprung it on the VW board at their test track.
First time I ever gave a car a '10'. There are lots of references to other cars that are almost as fast, or faster, or the color of the hood, or any other issues, but just having driven 200 miles in my Ford GT, I was reminded why Porsche's are so magical. The lightweight and connected steering, the great visibility, the incredible braking. Combine that with lower weight, incredible power and superb grip and it's a '10'. Even though there's an Ultima in my future, and I will keep and drive the FGT forever, the 911 is still magical and this is surely the ultimate version of that design.

You can pick up a boggo 997 Gt2 for what, £100k now?
I would be interested to know how far you could get with £60k spent upgrading one of those yourself.
Missing the point though. The buyers of this car will not blink at spending £160k. They are the type of person who would never waste their time buying a second hand GT2 and then getting it upgraded.I would be interested to know how far you could get with £60k spent upgrading one of those yourself.
