If you ever take it in for a service and the dealer screws up on something. And they offer to wash the car to say sorry...turn them down and see if you can get another go. Worked for the Boss and his pimp Cayenne.
Cool smile I'll hang out for that one

Out of curiosity, did you play online or at the airport? And how staged is that phone call!?

Well done chap!
I played online.  I tend to give in when they send out a 20% voucher wink

The phonecall is completely real.  What makes you think it is staged?

Obviously the photos are staged.

I've explained lots about it on my blog.

Ps you can tell I've got a problem as I keep wanting to play the supercar competition with the discount codes!

Ok, the phone call sounds staged but it just happened to come whilst I was measuring up at our new offices so a large empty space.

I honestly though if someone called me to offer me 25k or a car I'd be shouting and jumping around. Reality is (and you'll never understand til it happens to you) is you are utterly stunned. They've scripted the calls well from their end to make sure you know it is them (other purchases etc) and they work through other elements to prepare you for the big whammy. It's a bit like a freight train approaching but still being stunned by the impact!!!

bugga - reading this has just made me sign up and play some tickets - fingers crossed for a nice shiny birthday present!!! (more likely an empty bank account!)

looking at the sportscar competition - range of cars like a boxster S or £25 grand - why would you take the 25 grand cash when you could get the boxster, run it for 6 mths and still sell for more than that? or am I just being daft?
Base spec car means you'll need to spend cash on it to make it resaleable. OR in my case we took an Ex Demo with lots of toys for similar money.

Running the car over a year WILL cost money.

People's circumstances change... My wife was employed fulltime when I bought the ticket. Now she's a fulltime mum again due to redundancy. The money was tempting.

Come on guys ??? you do realise this is just an advertising scam to sell tickets surely? ur not that daft i hope?

No one really wins these cars, just planted people who work for BOTB and get paid a few hundred quid for making out they won.... oldest trick in the scam book, i'm amazed they still get away with it !!

DJ
From the smiley i'm assuming that you're joking.

I know the BOTB guys very well, and it's as far from a scam as it could possibly be. You wouldn't believe how tightly these things have to be regulated.
I hope he is joking as sold the Elise, insured the Cayman for a year and have already put 2k on the clock! :yikes
