fk me, and i thought the stroen c4 was made out of beer cans, but that looks really really bad, like the front end just crumpled. I know they are meant to deform in an accident, but holy crap thats taking the biscuit. If i was ever lucky enough to own something like that, i would take exceptional care of it
What would you expect a car thats hit a steel barrier to look like?

Op, How did you take that photo without getting punched?

Interesting to see how the passenger compartment still stayed intact though, at least now we know it's safe-ish
I'm not sure you can draw that conclusion without knowing how hard it hit.
Or what it hit.

If it hit a mars bar at 30mph and that was the result would you think it safe? OK, now, what if it hit a bollard at the same speed?

Damn, beat me too it, I was going to say the exact same thing. My understanding is that they are the only ones with a black one at the moment. They also have a red one.

And if I am not mistaken they only launched them at a party last week in London frown

So if they are not going up in flames then people are just throwing them into barriers.

Traxx you may want to lock yours away as it could become a collectors item soon biggrin

That photo makes it look much more severe because of the angle. Side on it looked a lot better. Doubt it's even a write off.

Agreed, I know the junction well too. Heart attack or similar incapacitating seizure aside, there really isn't any excuse for that crash there. Such a shame to see, the 458 is gorgeous frown

As can any road. Was there diesel there? I think a clue to this would be if there were other crashed cars present.

Doubt that is a showplate as doesn't seem to 'mean' anything.

Probably different cars in that case smile

e25 have a place in Belfast now too. It looks like the 458 might be from Northern Ireland.

It's just a lump of metal and plastic.

Would it be really harsh for me to say - well i wish he had got hurt?

It's a 10 reg 458, in urban England, and in a drop of rain he bins it.

Come on, he *deserves* pain.

Funnily enough I didn't take the photo. It came up on FB after i drove past it and someone linked to a twitter feed of a guy who took it.

According to the friend who linked me, he stopped his car on the bridge, got out and took the photo. To which the woman replied with something nasty about why take a photo of a crashed car.
