Congrats torchy6 said: What a load of b******s what they did was manage to finish SEVEN laps behind the class below them and seventh overall. That they manged to outlast a very poor LMP1 entry was purely down to luck. They won s*** and will continue to do so. Lets put this into context, it's like a Virgin winning a Grand Prix because all the rest retired with a time that would put them seventh in the GP2 race.
Well done pistonheads on the biggest load of spin I have ever read on this website

Well done pistonheads on the biggest load of spin I have ever read on this website Blimey, calm down chap. Then stop this sickening Mansell sycophancy. If you don't have an unconditional love for Nigel Mansell then you're dead inside.

Go to the LMS website and download the timings - it makes for interesting reading. The RLR car finished 10 laps behind Beechdean after a 20 minute lay up in the pits to repair damage to the front and rear of the car. But LMS is all about surviving the race - so however well or badly a team appears to have done on paper in terms of laptimes, it's a war of attrition and if they finish where others don't, then they are worthy winners. On pace, RLR should have come in around 4th in class on their debut race, but didn't because they got into some trouble. That's just the name of the game.

Yep - "To finish first, first you have to finish". Clichés are clichés for a reason.
