I'll start us off with two.
Colleague at work who firmly believes their 92k mile Saxo is worth approx £2000.
Another colleague who tells everyone all BMWs are 2.0 litre, its just the power output thats different...

Oh and the Alfa V6 engine is problematic.

"Are they paying you too much?" No, my car is worth considerably less than your 18k Focus diesel.

I've no knowledge of the set up myself, however...
non PH type colleague with a MINI. Has run flats and a tyre pressure indicator. Everytime the tyre pressure warning light comes on, there is a reset button, which makes it 'go away'. After about 2 weeks of doing this daily it turns out she actually has a flat tyre.

"Your spending how much on tyres" when I mentioned that I am fitting some decent rubber rather than Nankang Ditch Finders for 1/3 of the price. ETA: S3_Graham said: "it's just a car" Really annoys me this one.
