Well, it looks like an Audi. I mean, it looks like any and/or all Audis.

This is just an extension of the 70's Audi 100 Coupe but why do they apply it to the largest car they can find. The original 100 Coupe was a classic.

It's a shame given Audi have innovated car design in the past but now seem intent on playing safe.

Seriously? If repetitive generic same as the last time styling is classed as beauty yeah OK then...

Its the same as all other big car companies in the luxury segment. All BMWs look the same as do all Mercs, even the new CLS looks like all the others.

Slightly less ugly, but worse to drive 5 Series GT.

Ludwig designed the 100 Coupe.

A committee designed the A7.

Mercedes seem to be the worst for this to my mind, though I'm not goint to type them all out.

Surely if you're including MINI though (a sub-brand of the BMW group), you should also include Rolls-Royce (another BMW sub-brand) and the many many different VW brands?

I really do like this. Not a patch of that BMW coupe-saloon crossover thing that was posted a few months back-that was stunning- but far better looking than most other large saloons- particularly the hateful is-it-a-boat-is-it-an-MPV 5-series GT.

An RS7 with the blown V10 from the RS6 would go down a treat, as would a 5.2 V10 engined one.

More of a stretched hatchback than a coupe. Just reminds me far too much of this.......

My Dad had a blue one. Looked great. In retrospect, its performance didn't match its looks.

And nowadays, the looks rarely match the performance biggrin

This isn't a successor to the 100S coupe, it's a successor to the 100 Avant of late 70's/early 80's.

It's just a big Audi hatchback with no coupe style or sleekness at all, unlike the A5 Coupe (but not sportback) and in particular the XF and the CLS.

If I wanted VAG sleekness and 4 door practicality I'd save a wedge and get a Passat CC.

looks like it has a bit of a sad face from the back...well to me it does

otherwise its nothing exciting to look at. doesn't make the same impression as the CLS did when it first came out
