Wasn't me passed on by someone who fixes petrol pumps and was called to this in London today!
Was apparently very heavy rain and standing water according to him.
To fast for road conditions I think, don't think anyone hurt apart from pride and wallet

Hope everyone was ok.

On a lighter note..

If your going to destroy a petrol pump and put a petrol garage out of business for a day or so at least it was a BP garage.

New car inexperienced driver maybe?

So, Mr. M77, what caused you to collide with the petrol station?

Then a bh in a Micra pulled out in front of me and the bdING DBW throttle delay ruined my perfect attempt at a four wheel drift that could grace any well endowded racing driver. And at least this Porsche is rear wheel drive.

Thought I recognised that station... I wouldn't have bothered, the Shell station further back on the A20 is way cheaper.

...oh, and the entry isn't a straight line onto concrete off a 70mph stretch of road either, oops.

Ouch - thats not nice!

Quick question though - looks like the airbag went off. What is the lowest speed that they go off?

Oh, and cannot imagine what went through the drivers mind though. Crashing is bad, but then to see the approaching petrol station? Considering a firey burning death? Not going to be good either way.

Testement to modern safety systems though - no burning petrol station and a car that someone can walk away from!

I hope the owner of the silver vw wasn't filling up at the time (petrol cap on driver's side rear quarter) otherwise that would've hurt. eek
