Unsure if the do the Vredestein Quatrac 3's in your size, but I fitted some last year and didn't bother to remove them during the summer. Hardly any wear, and have served me well in the recent weather. They are M&S rated. I normally go through a set of Falken 452's in twelve months, these seem to be lasting very well in comparison. (You do notice a little more roll and give in the summer, but that's going from 235/40/17 Summer tyres)

any suggestions on "All Season" tyres for a SUV/4x4 that spends its time on the roads, that will give decent grip in the wet and snow whilst not wasting away in the summer?
Vredestein do an SUV version of the Quatrac 3 that might be worth investigating. Can't say from experience how the SUV version will perform -- suggest you look for reviews -- but I've used the normal version on two different cars in different sizes and they've been good both times, (165/70R13 T-rated and 195/65R15 V-rated).

My real world experience of a 4x4 with all seasons = no problems at all
So...Given your trolling anti-winter tyres posts this is quite a revelation.
The ironic thing is that the very nature of your post is actually trolling

Just giving my opinions on how I've found the weather and how my car has coped. Might be a different opinion to yours but that's what internet forums are all about.
After your repeated "no one needs winters, just drive to the conditions" type posts it's a little contrary to pipe up with a positive opinion of all seasons tyres.Hark said:
The Golf was totally unphased by the 4" or so of snow we had here in the Midlands, so glad I had winter tyres. Passed a few who'd were stuck or struggling. Wife's Rover 25 on slightly skinnier winters is even more impressive if anything.
An overconfident 4x4 driver had a proper tank slapper in front of me turning at the traffic lights.
My old rover brm with steelies and winters on, LSD , c 1000kg and 150 odd hp was the best winter car I've ever had. An overconfident 4x4 driver had a proper tank slapper in front of me turning at the traffic lights.
It was obscene how quick you could get about in the white stuff in that thing. So much fun too!

You seem to be the only one using that word, have a think about that
