I see the 3008 and 5008 have been a sales hit, I must have seen at least two of them.
I'd say that about the 1007, the two you are talking about are already as common as the citroen berlingo over here eek

The French have never been able to design a good-looking car.
I used to like the look of the Venturi Atlantique when it was new in 1992...
Yes you're right! Very neat and elegant. But is it a French design...
According to the wiki on the Atlantique (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Venturi_Atlantique), the designers are called Claude Poiraud and Gérard Godfroy. They sound pretty French to me. smile

I bet there aren't many of them still running now... nice as they look, they are still French!

yes Cars that are bad are mostly not sold well. Cars like the 307, 3008, 5008 may look bad in our (PH's) eyes, but they do somethings well (transport a lot of stuff in a lot of comfort for a reasonable price).

I've had a (company forced) 307 and it was by no means a bad car. For the commuting I did, it was a fair bit better in many ways than my 325i. It also went wrong a LOT less (probably due to age too, but nevertheless it was very reliable).

That front end really reminds me of the GT-R, though I'm not sure why. I wouldn't want to roll that thing, if that's even possible given how low it is...
It looks about as low as my Long circuit Racing Kart. I spent years telling people they were impossible to turn over and then someone hit me from behind and flipped me, I broke my arm.
