I think the old 6 was "interesting" even if it wasn't my cup of tea. this is about as interesting as an unsharpened pencil.
And I agree with this, although this is still nice. I think the old car was more intereting to look at, also looked mnore aggressive. IMO
I know alot of people say its ugly but then alot of people are just going with what everyone else says, if you spend some time with one they actually have some nice lines.

But then I am biased tongue out

Scouse,

Imagine it:

Alpina Green with 19/20" Dynamics and gold war paint.

Running a conservative 520 donkeys.

You can take your 'supercars' and fk right off.

As DeR one wrote:

'Nothing says 'You're fked' like an Alpina splitter in your rear view mirror'
Lefty given that the standard 760Li TT has 547bhp a conservative 620bhp should be more
like what Buchloe could find.......

Not that I could ever find the dosh to buy one!!

TDM - I would have thought a 6.0 bore, improved breathing aparatus would have and easy 640-650bhp. Fitment of and M-DCT variant transmission.

Remember that Burkhardt and his boys "always" quote the lowest power figure based on highest
possible ambient temps (Death Valley,Middle East etc) and lowest octane fuel that the car is designed to safely run on, also there's some evidence that Alpina don't like to upset the Bosses at Munich

DeRs B5 was rated at 497bhp but the way it would outdrag various "junior" Supercars and
on one particularly memorable occassion a Uber tuned 993TT was made to work VERY hard to pull
away! It seems to be accepted by people that are lucky enough to own these monsters that the true power figure is probably around 550bhp maybe a little more in cold ambient conditions..

More or less the words I wanted to use!
BMW has made several rather ugly cars lately (Series 1, X6, X5 coupé or whatever their name is, because it is bloody complicated to remember and recognise their models), but this is a beauty.
At last!
