Top write up though it's made me very jealous and upset that I'll probably never get to drive one!

How easy is it to close the doors from sitting in the car?

Excellent write up though.. I'm not a massive fan of the back 3/4 view but front, front 3/4 is lovely!
Well as I said I'm pretty tall, with quite long arms, and I had to really stretch up to pull it down when sat in the seat.

It's a small point, but by doing that, if you're wearing a shirt tucked into your trousers, it will invariably come out by stretching up like that, meaning you have to re-dress yoruself when you get out. Small point, but would get frustrating...
Thats what I thought may be the problem, well, not problem, minor inconvenience..

Can see a £10,000 per side strap being released hehe
And I can see some 10p bent coathangers being employed!

Lol just a couple of posts!

I wouldn't mind a car reviewing job either. But for now I'd happily settle with your job and salary to allow me to do stuff like that, lol

In all seriousness though, was a great write up, made me laugh serious hard a couple of times. Should think about pursuing it!

Listen up haymarket!

Lovely. But am I alone in thinking the dash is not all it could be? Maybe it's the angle.

Cheers,

FT.

Yeah, I messed up a bit there by not getting a full interior dash shot. Here's one from the official Merc images:

It's not very adventurous, but then I would prefer a subtle interior like that which works perfectly and has great ergonomics, to a TVR interior which is (IMO) style over substance.

Yes, that's better. I think the grey/black combination in your photo lets it down a bit.

Cheers,

FT.

I think he's alluding to the fact that all your pictures show the car with both doors open wink

Stunning looking piece of kit IMO; first one I saw was the safety car at Silverstone in July; just cloud9

Would definitely be in my top ten garage.

Thanks for the write up.

I was a couple of cars behind this SLS on Tuesday evening, stuck in a traffic jam on J8/9 of the M4. It's the first one I've seen on the road, and I thought it actually looked quite compact, from behind.

Cheers,

Worth every penny. The SLS would be my daily driver along with a Rangey TDV8 for people carrying duties.

Can't get this car out of my head, it's f**king brilliant.
