Cool shed. A white, BBR RE1900-converted version of this car was my first open-top motoring experience.
As mentioned above, the interior on this example looks to be in pretty good condition given the mileage.
I still have a BBR (GTi Engineering) RE1900 engine new in a crate waiting for the right mk1 to put it in. Such fun to drive & great value for smiles per mile.As mentioned above, the interior on this example looks to be in pretty good condition given the mileage.

Looks tidy enough in the pictures. Great SOTW. I don't think you would lose any money if you ran this for a year.
A mate of mine did exactly this. Paid 3 grand for a J plate Rivage, had it for a year and was contemplating making some subtle mods (bbs wheels etc). But then he ended up selling it for 200 quid more than what he paid for it. Jammy git! Good shed! One of the few convertibles I would (and have) happily be seen in. A mate had one a few years ago which had a 1.8 16v mk2 golf gti engine put into it, gave it the power it needed. Horrible to live with through the winter though. Like he says, it you bought that now and kept it till late spring you'd make a few bob on it.
On a totally separate note whilst reviewing this article, the number plate is exactly the same as the one we spotted (same car) on the evening of Tuesday 13th October driving at excessive speed through a village just outside Andover in Hampshire.
