They will still be releasing "teaser" shots in 2015 if their history is anything to go by... What are you talking about ? Citroen only announced the DS range 18 months ago as concepts and they have already produced 2 of the cars and the GT concept that actually drives ? Oh and the Survolt electric car that does 0-60 in 3.5secs, need i go on ! Some people have such out-dated & uneducated opinions

People seem to accept it in a cheap hatchback, but if bits of trim started falling off your huge executive saloon you'd be a bitnarked. You really need to wake up and form your own opinion rather than read them from the 10 year old magazines in your doctors waiting room. They have won more awards in the last 3 years than almost any other manufacturer.

Each country/manufacturer/model has them.... maybe if we listed them on a dedicated thread we could do without this constant waste of bandwidth... Loving your work

If your above statement is based on modern Citroen executive saloons, then that's a wildly inaccurate opinion. +1

Hopefully the V6 is nice and powerfull. Porsche have sold thousands of Boxster's with that same design philosophy so it might not be such a crazy idea...

What an awesome looking car. Shame the electrics will go funny and it will eat fuel injectors cos it's a Citroen!

FYI - Citroen is not government funded. Your getting confused with Renault Ahhhh - I stand corrected. Riggers said: UPDATE: We've lust had word from the Citroen UK peeps who, having spoken to France (well, Citroen France, not the whole country), officially say there are no plans to build the Metropolis. No real shocker there - shame though.

What a fantastic looking concept B)
Hopefully some of that design will filter through into production cars.

Very impressive for a Citroën! Proportions are stunning. But... all the detailing is frightfully untidy, complicated, ugly, tortuous...

I like it. To me the back looks more like the front of an Evo though.
I would think about one, as long as 1) it was 3 years old, as I don't want to loose that much and 2) it is a proper bit Citroen, i.e soft suspension and a little bit mad.

Had a C5 estate as a hire car in Germany recently. Needless to say, pedal-to-the-plastic 240kph for hours on the autobahn and it all felt like I was in some kind of space ship floating to a far flung galaxy. Even put on some Bowie for effect. Brilliant and have been looking for a cheap C6 ever since. This thing looks like a natural extension (literally) of the the C5 -> C6 design language and I think it's great.
The fact that they're using a Chinese design house doesn't suprise me one bit.
