Porsche dealerships must have incredible salespeople.
Unfortunately, they don't need to sell this car. It sells itself.No-one is going to walk into a dealership, expecting to pay £110,000 for a 997 Turbo PDK Cab, and get 'upsold' to a car with less power, rubbish roof and ugly rear.
Well ok, maybe one or two. The majority are going to go to collectors.
edit: I mean seriously, who at Porsche thought that was a nice rear view?!

A friend of mine bought a Speedster in 1989 as an investment. It sat in his garage for yesrs and eventually was sold at a loss. I think they fetch around £30,000 still - or did when I last looked which wasn't recently. Yet another Porsche marketing exercise.
The problem was that everybode bought them as an investment. You then ended up with all of them being immaculate colletors cars with delivery mileage. Octane reckons you should be able to buy a decent one for £26,500.http://www.classicandperformancecar.com/front_webs...
I've not got much to say that hasn't already been said...
- It looks horrible
- It looks better with the roof up
- It appears expensive for what it is
I also agree with one of the previous poster's comments that the price might be too low. Something is worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. If they sell them all quickly then there is an argument to say they should have asked for even more money.
