What has made me giggle is the comment from the organiser's of the above event:

“I am honestly appalled that this and other grotesque creations from Chop Shop may have been viewed as representing the standards of the UK’s modified vehicle community. Quite apart from any aesthetic considerations, if the ‘powers that be’ were misled into thinking that ‘Chop Shop’ methods are how most of us go about modifying vehicles we’d be legislated against faster than you can say ‘Leepu Awlia’ (The programmes resident ‘designer’) The programme in my view paints us all in a bad light. Before we feed the car to Podzilla though, we will remove and recycled the viable parts. It’s not about wanton destruction, it’s about responsible, safe vehicle modification”.

Much as I enjoyed watching the Chop Shop programmes, the car really did look pants though..

I quite like the front of the Capri, the rest is horrible, I can kind of see what Leepu is trying to do but the proportions are all wrong on most of his creations.

I'm sure that Santa Pod organised a "rent-a-hammer" deal with Kemp's car where, for a small charitable donation, one could smash the fk out of that "creation" with a nice big sledgehammer, before BigFoot did its worst.

You would be 100% correct. Proceeds went to a cancer charity IIRC, then the remains were flattend by Podzilla. I think the show was VW Action a few years ago, not sure about a video of it being squashed though

I've only just seen this programme (part 2 of Saab episode). I'd seen the Bangalor one, and how does this guy get more shows?! The cars are so shockingly bad, how could they be considered safe/good looking/ etc is beyond me!
